Coat of arms of Andorra

The coat of arms of Andorra is a shield with a nibbed base that consists of coats of arms of the co-owners of Andorra.

In the upper left part of the shield there is a golden miter with silver fringe and ribbons on the red background together with golden staff for the left sash of the bishop of La Seu D’Urgell (Spain).

In the upper right part there are three red pillars on the golden background (the coat of arms of the County of Foix). In the lower right part there are two red bulls in azure armory with collars and bells (the coat of arms of the Viscounty of Béarn, currently a part of the French department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques (France)).

In the lower left part there are four red pillars on the golden background (the colors of the Catalonia). In the bottom part of the coat of arms there is a motto “Virtusunita fortiori” (“Together we are stronger”).
