Art Centre of Escaldes-Engordany (CAEE) opens today the photo exhibition dedicated to the history of this district. The exhibition will run until 28th January 2017. The event was organized with the assistance of the National Archive of Andorra and the Historical Archive of Escaldes-Engordany.

The exhibition presents 90 images of two districts – Escaldes and Engordany – the period from the beginning of the 20th century to the 70s. All the photos are in black and white, they depict natural landscapes, urban neighborhoods, rural areas, streets, hotels, shops, as well as people – representatives of the local population and tourists.

Different lectures will be organized in the framework of the exhibition. In particular, on 24th November at 20:30 a lecture by the historian, member of the ICOMOS (The International Council on Monuments and Sites) David Mas is planned. Workshops for children from 6 years are also in the schedule. Admission is free.
