The Government of Andorra increases the tax rate for the group of products of tobacco, including cigarettes, by 10%. “Amendments will be considered by Parliament over the next few days”, reports the Government of Andorra.
The purpose of the legislative changes – the alignment of the prices for tobacco with the neighboring countries in connection with the forthcoming signing of the agreement establishing the Association with the EU and Andorra (Pyrenees).
However, some difference in prices in favor of Andorra will remain, says the government.
