The Government of Andorra has announced a tender for the construction of a cycle path along the CG3 main road connecting Ordino and Sornàs in Andorra (Pyrenees).
The length of the road will be approximately 1 km long and is not intended to reduce the number of traffic lanes.
This is the fourth of the governmental projects on the improvement of the road network, aimed at the promotion and development of cycling in the principality. The first project involves the construction of a cycle path along the road CG2 in Soldeu area, the second – along the road CG1 (two sections: from the storage area of San Julia de Loria to a road section with a circular motion, and from the area to Laurèdia Aubinyà). The third project – along the road CG3, from the exit of the Sant Antoni tunnel before Anyós.
