The minister of Health of Andorra Сarles Alvarez visited Madrid (Spain) to discuss with his Spanish colleagues the possibilities for cooperation on issues related to organ transplantation, modern methods of therapy development as well as methods of treatment of infectious diseases.
The meeting, in particular, was attended by Secretary General of the Spanish health and consumer´s protection Javier Castrodeza, and the Ambassador of Andorra (Pyrenees) in Spain, Jaume Gaytan.
The meeting was held in the framework of the Memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the governments of Andorra and Spain, signed on 8 January 2015.
