Foreign Minister of Andorra (Pyrenees) Gilbert Saboya visited Poland, where he met with his counterpart Witold Waszczykowski on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Gilbert Saboya held several meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economic Development of Poland.
The Ministers discussed issues of tax transparency, the prospects for an agreement on automatic exchange of tax information between the two countries and the conclusion of agreements on avoidance of double taxation. Gilbert Saboya among the priorities described the development of cooperation in the areas of tourism, technology, education and health.
Among other discussed issues were the relationship with the European Union, Andorra and the EU convergence process, as well as the status of the negotiations and the agenda on these issues for coming months.
